Welcome to the new Oceania Celebrate Recovery blogs. I'm Penny a Christian who struggles with alcoholism and in recovery for sexual/ physical abuse.
It is our hope that these blogs will be a place where we can encourage your Celebrate Recovery ministries.
We have just got back from the USA from attending the Celebrate Recovery Summit at Saddleback. What an awesome time was had by all. I encourage you all to start planning to attend this next August.
As the Oceania National Team we are planning to have our own summit Down Under in March 2009. Details will be posted soon.
At the CR Summit, the brand new Celebrate Recovery Bible was released by Zondervan. This Bible is specifically developed for the CR programme.The Cr Bible will be available through the resource page on the Australian Celebrate Recovery website.
We are encouraged by the growth of CR throughout Australia/ New Zealand. We are planning one day seminars for Western Australia and Victoria in November, dates to be advised subject to the timing of the federal election.
